My first exposure to non-mainstream art came from music blogs, and at the age of 16 I reached out to my favorite one and became a contributing writer at Hillydilly (later to rebrand as Before The Data).
I quickly developed a passion for unearthing new music, which evolved into a mission to bring the very best new music to the masses.
Over a decade of music journalism, I learned the value of maintaining a high standard of quality, the effort required to be the best at a craft, and the importance of strategy in accomplishing an organization’s goals.
